Damn this was a hard page to do, for many reasons more than just that I really liked Janice. The doors especially just *suck*. Hate doors. Hate. I used Umbrella Academy for reference material to make the explosion. They have some very nice explosions in that comic. :) Maybe it was a little overly dramatic to have a big explosion from what is later written off as a minor electrical fire, but dammit, I wasn't writing Janice out with just a fizzle. :P

i agree, it was a hard page. i think holly and i had the same expression at the end. Janice definitely deserved the big bang rather than a fizzle. im gonna miss her.
I had forgotten how cool the artwork in book 2 is... Holly's last frame is really neat!
I always liked the second Holly beating on the door panel, although stylistically it doesn't match her in the rest of the comic. I think this whole page is that way, though. It was interesting, but kinda violating comic continuity. :/ Meh, I do it for the experience, not for the continuity. :P
